Random Talk with Shekie

We are in the year 2009 and the month of February has already started…Time is flying don’t you think? Well as long as everyone is having fun then it really does not matter!!!! :-0

I am having one of those random days where I just switched on my laptop and had the urge to speak to all of you. Please excuse me if I don’t make any sense. LOL

So how is everyone? What have you guys been up to? Are you enjoying the festive weather and making the most of not going to School, College, University and Work? :-). So we are in the second month of the year 2009 and I guess this month brings most people a lot of Love and Happiness? Does that still happen? :-/ But why is Valentines so significant? Do people have to use 14th Feb to express their desire and love for that certain special one? How about if you miss the 14th and do it on the 16th or the month after….does it become less significant? Please let me know your thoughts? Maybe we can write a song asking this very question? Wishing everyone a Very Happy Valentines Day AND to all the hardcore lovers out there 'ALL THE BEST' with the preparations, the gifts and the chasing around to get your valentine to say YES!! To all the single guys and girls come and have a ‘Tantanna’ of a time with us on the 14th Feb 2009 at Piya Piya, Kandy Nights. We will be performing, signing our albums and greeting everyone on the night. (For more info see News Section)

Going away from the random talk, the UK Asian Music Awards (AMA’s) are near approaching (5th March 2009). As you may all know we have been nominated for the best newcomers’ category. Thank you for all your votes and Good Luck messages, it really is special to us. Please spread the word and let everyone know to register their votes at www.theukama.com Please make us… actually yours truly Shekie ‘n’ Sham the best newcomers at the UK AMA’s this March 2009.

Finally, its confirmed…We will be at the Zee Carnival performing on Sunday the 15th Feb at 1.45pm…So make sure your there…NO EXCUSES .

Okay it’s approaching 11.30am and I need to link up with Sham to go to the studios and work on our latest project…all will be revealed sooooooooonnnnnn!!!! Oh and of course the BIG news that we have been mentioning in our past blogs is days away of being finalised so do watch out for that only at SnS World.

P.S- I am a die hard Liverpool Fan, My Religion is ONE, I am single, I suffer from hay fever which is minimal at the moment as the pollen count is low and I thought I was allergic to chocolates, however it is apparently the nuts that consists in the chocolates that cause me in breaking into spots….Soooo that means I can enjoy eating just plain chocolates :-0 . I think this is more than enough random talk for today!!
